Advertising Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Advertising Designer to join our team and deliver exceptional visual concepts that capture brand messaging and drive marketing success. In this role, you will design and refine creative materials for campaigns, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, mentoring junior designers, and staying current with design trends to bring fresh ideas to agency projects. You will present and adjust designs based on feedback, balancing creativity with client expectations. In this role, you will: 

  • Uphold high standards for quality and accuracy across all design outputs, from initial concepts to final deliverables.
  • Support and mentor junior designers or assistants, providing guidance and helping them develop their skills.
  • Create visual concepts and designs that align with client brands, capturing the desired image and supporting marketing objectives.
  • Contribute insights and participate in team meetings, collaborating on design strategies and agency projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and agency marketing teams to ensure designs convey accurate brand messaging and intent.
  • Research and stay current on design trends, technologies, and new techniques to bring innovative ideas to agency projects.
  • Present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, collecting and incorporating feedback for refinement.
  • Make timely adjustments to designs based on client and stakeholder input, balancing creativity with client expectations.
  • Manage multiple design projects within deadlines, ensuring efficient workflow and project prioritization.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and techniques.
  • 2-3 years of experience in brand design, graphic design, or illustration, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking approach to design challenges.
  • Strong time management skills and adaptability to evolving project priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers.
  • Knowledge of emerging design trends and their application to marketing objectives.
