Amazon Supply Chain Associate Job Description

We are seeking a talented Amazon Supply Chain Associate to join our team and drive the efficiency of our eCommerce supply chain. In this role, you will collaborate with inventory and fulfillment teams to manage stock levels, coordinate FBA inventory replenishments, and ensure timely product launches on Amazon.

Responsibilities include sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and arranging logistics from manufacturers to 3PL warehouses. You will also analyze inventory data, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure compliance with import regulations to optimize supply chain performance. In this role, you will: 

  • Manage Inventory: Collaborate with inventory and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate stock levels, preventing stockouts and overstock.
  • Coordinate Product Launches: Ensure product listings are optimized and live on Amazon by the launch date, coordinating across teams as needed.
  • FBA Inventory Replenishments: Plan and oversee the replenishment of FBA inventory to maintain efficiency and avoid delays.
  • Inventory Planning: Order stock to maintain optimal levels, work with 3PL partners, and analyze stock in Amazon and 3PL warehouses for potential shortages.
  • Product Sourcing: Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate pricing, manage bulk orders, and ensure reliable supply for product launches and reorders.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange product transport from manufacturers to 3PL warehouses, assign HTS codes to minimize import taxes, and resolve logistics issues.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishments, and working with 3PL partners.
  • Strong knowledge of product sourcing and supplier negotiation, particularly with Chinese suppliers.
  • Proven experience managing logistics operations, including arranging shipments, assigning customs codes, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Skilled in using spreadsheets and data tools to monitor inventory and supply chain metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast inventory needs and identify potential shortages.
  • Proven track record of resolving supply chain issues, such as stock discrepancies and logistics challenges.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce supply chain management, especially with Amazon FBA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating inventory for product launches to meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with HTS codes and import/export regulations to minimize costs and ensure compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to align inventory planning with marketing and sales goals.
  • Knowledge of inventory and logistics software to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to proactively address supply chain challenges.
