We are seeking a talented Photo Editor to join our team and produce visually stunning content for publication and marketing projects. In this role, you will oversee photography assignments, review and enhance images, and ensure all visuals are completed and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to define photography needs, editing images to the highest quality, and managing photography equipment and supplies. You will also provide guidance on projects and stay updated on new editing tools and techniques. If you are creative, detail-oriented, and have a passion for photography, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will: 

• Collaborate with the editor and team members to determine photography requirements.
• Assign projects to photographers, monitor progress, and track deadlines.
• Review, edit, and make adjustments to photos as needed.
• Select images for publication.
• Ensure that all assignments are completed, edited, and prepared for timely release.
• Enhance photos to the highest quality using appropriate editing tools.
• Oversee the proper use of all photography equipment and manage supply orders as necessary.
• Communicate with editors, photographers, and advertising representatives, offering guidance on upcoming projects.
• Keep updated on the latest developments in image editing technology.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a photo editor.
• Advanced photo editing skills with an impressive portfolio.
• Strong background in digital technology and proficiency with photo editing software (such as Photoshop, Pixlr, and Affinity Photo).
• In-depth knowledge of digital imaging, photography techniques, and color theory.
• Effective time management and leadership skills.
• Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in photography, visual arts, digital media, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with studio management and photography equipment oversight.
