Social Media Manager Job Description

In this role, you will: 

  • Utilize social media marketing tools to build and sustain the company’s brand presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing professionals to design effective social media campaigns.
  • Engage with customers and other stakeholders through the company’s social media platforms.
  • Review and assess the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy.
  • Identify areas for strategic improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, keeping management informed of relevant changes that could impact marketing efforts.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as target numbers for shares or likes, and evaluate campaign success based on these KPIs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using major social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-organized with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of establishing and tracking KPIs for campaign success.
