Finance Administrative Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized Finance Administrative Assistant to support our finance team. In this role, you will manage administrative tasks, assist with financial reporting, and ensure efficient operations within the department. In this role, you will:
- Support Financial Operations: Assist with day-to-day financial tasks, such as processing invoices, preparing reports, and maintaining financial records.
- Manage Documentation: Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring easy access and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate Team Communication: Act as a liaison between the finance department and other teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.
- Assist with Reporting: Prepare and format financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor Deadlines: Track due dates for financial filings, payments, and other time-sensitive tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Handle Inquiries: Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, directing them to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Support Meetings: Schedule finance team meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes to track progress on key initiatives.
- Leverage Financial Tools: Use accounting and financial software to support reporting and data entry tasks.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or financial support role.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial data and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
