In this role, you will:
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather, clean, and organize data from property records, market reports, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present key insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Market and Property Analysis: Analyze real estate market trends, rental performance, and property valuations to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with property managers, leasing teams, and leadership to develop strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis to evaluate investment opportunities, assess market risks, or provide tailored insights for strategic decisions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance analytical methods and reporting processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for properties, providing actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, ideally within the real estate industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Data Visualization Skills: Proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
- Real Estate Knowledge: Understanding of real estate market dynamics, property valuation, and financial principles.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Data Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling or machine learning.
- Familiarity with GIS tools or real estate-specific software platforms.
- Background in financial modeling or investment analysis.
